Shower Channels

Impress your customers with high quality bathroom drainage solutions.
For developers and architects thinking in the long term, the ACO Shower Drain is a decision for prudent luxury where all the details can be relied on. The extremely smooth passivated surfaces guarantee safe drainage and hygiene in bathrooms. The seals, joints and thickness of the materials are guarantees for low noise emissions.
A must-have for contemporary bathrooms and wet room designs, ACO stainless steel shower channels can be used with tiled or flexible sheet flooring, and are available with a choice of grating design.
Manufactured from austenitic stainless steel, ACO shower channels provide sophisticated, barrier-free bathroom drainage.

The use of ACO ShowerDrain channels in barrier-free showers offers some clear advantages. The shower channel can be adapted to suit any technical or aesthetic challenges which exist with a high-quality floor-level shower solution. The gradient to the gully body only needs to be created in one direction and a shaped thin bed flange can be used to create the necessary connection to the thin bed seal. A polished channel surface also improves drainage efficiency, reduces limescale deposits and ensures the channel is easy-to-clean.

Multi Floor traps

KiTEC has developed a Floor Trap meeting all the requirements of international standards. Based on
our research and interaction with experts it was realized that apart from connecting the
waste water to drain line the trap also acts as a safety measure avoiding harmful gases to
enter the room.
The design is based on the principle that the trap shall have a liquid seal of not less than
50 mm and not more than 65 mm. The water seal that forms the trap barrier is the
maximum vertical depth of liquid that a trap will retain. It is measured between the crown
weir and the top of the dip of the trap. A water seal of not less than 50 mm and not more
than 65 mm was found to be the optimum depth to provide the necessary protection
against sewer gas and still provide the self-scouring effect needed to keep the trap from
fouling. Atrap with less than 50 mm of seal depth offers less resistance to self-siphonage
and more readily loses its seal by evaporation. Obviously the greater the seal depth, the
opposite is proportionately true. The product is suitable for use on all types of drainage
installations including “Single Stack” and “One-Pipe Fully Vented Systems”.

Grease Separators

Commercial kitchens generating wastewater must have pre-treatment plants to ensure that fat, oil and grease (FOG) are not discharged into the public sewerage network. Otherwise, very greasy wastewater puts the pipe systems and drainage equipment at risk. Grease and oils are deposited with other wastewater components on the walls of the pipes and can lead to corrosion, blockages and noxious smells. Hence, grease separators, also known as grease traps or grease interceptors, have to be installed to retain greasy wastewater. This applies to commercial kitchens in Airports, Hospitals, Restaurants, Hotels, shopping malls and Commercial buildings.
